Bunaken National Park

Taman Nasional Bunaken is a marine park in the waters of Manado city, North Sulawesi. The park is located in the Coral Triangle is home to over 390 species of coral, various species of fish, mollusks, reptiles and marine mammals. Park is representative of the marine ecosystem, seagrass meadows, coral reefs and beaches.

Bunaken National Park was established in 1991 and an area of 890.65 square kilometers with composition of 97% of marine habitats and 3% of the land includes five islands are islands of Bunaken, Manado Tua, Mantehage, Naen and Siladen. National parks hold more than 390 species of coral and 90 species of fish.

Algae is Caulerpa, Halimeda and Padina, while species of seaweed are Thalassia hemprichii, Enhallus acoroides and Thalassaodendron ciliatum. Various species of fish, marine mammals, reptiles, birds, mollusks, mangroves, crabs, lobsters, molluscs and sea birds. The islands are also rich Arecaceae, sago, woka, silar and coconut, while the species of terrestrial animals such as deer and fitch.

Bunaken region consists of 22 villages and inhabited by about 35,000 residents, mostly fishermen or farmers coconut, sweet potato, bananas and seaweed, while others work as a tour guide, workers in the cottage and ship's captain. In 2005 the national park entered the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Marine park is located in the Bunaken district, North Sulawesi, about 7 miles from the Manado port and taken about 50 minutes using twin-engine motor boats or 35 minutes by speed boat. Bunaken has diversity in the golden triangle of the world's reefs are scattered in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste and Solomon Islands.

The divers watched the hard and soft coral reefs around the walls of cliff with different shapes and colors, marlin, tuna, snapper, grouper, barracuda, napoleon wrasse, angel fish, turtle, mandarin fish, sea horses, stingrays, octopus and ancient fish Coelacanth.

No off seasons to visit the Bunaken, but May to August is the time where the sea is crystal clear and warm water in temperature of 26-31 degrees Celsius. The beauty of the marine park was striking at the location named Lekuan 1, 2, 3, Fukui, Mandolin, Tanjung Parigi, Ron's point, Sachiko point, Pangalisang, Kampung Muka and East Bunaken.

Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand. The beach is in a secluded area between Siung Beach and Sundak Beach where a coral island becomes a lobster habitat.

Odzala-Kokoua National Park

Odzala-Kokoua National Park or Odzala National Park is a conservation area of 13,500 sq kilometers (5,200 sq mi) at the Cuvette-Ouest Department, Republic of the Congo, declared a protected area in 1935, biosphere reserves in 1977, and national parks in the year 2001 at. Odzala-Kokoua has more than 100 species of mammals and as one of the most diverse primate populations in Africa.
