Lore Lindu National Park

Taman Nasional Lore Lindu is a protected area of 2,290 square kilometers status of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves in 1982 in Poso regency and Sigi regency, Central Sulawesi, flanked Palu valley and Pablo valley in north, Lariang river and Kulawi valley in west, Napu valley in east as well as Bada valley in south.

Lore Lindu National Park is a park located in the meeting of continental plates that make up the island of Sulawesi and brings a wealth of flora and fauna of each slab. The unification of plates gave rise to bending, deformation and land masses since the island was first formed.

Low mountains forests at elevations between 1,000 and 1,500 meters above sea level trees grow shorter and smaller diameter are 88 species of orchids, ferns Asplenium sp. and Platycerium sp., Uru tree, Resin tree and others.

Alpin forest at an altitude above 2,000 meters of sea level rich moss, damp fog and heavy rainfall resulted in leaching of soil nutrients. Lore Lindu National Park is rich Sulawesi typical mammalian Anoa (Bubalus depressicomis and Bubalus quarlessi), Babyrusa babyrousa, Palanger Sulawesi (Phalanger celebencis), Tarsier (Tarsius dianae), Sulawesi monkey (Macaca tonkeana) and Cifet (Macrogalidia musschenbroeckii).

Bird special is Maleo (Macrocephalon maleo), hornbills (Rhyticeros cassidix) and Sulawesi Eagle (Spizaetus lanceolatus), 55 species of bats and others. Reptilia is pythons (Python reticulatus), King Cobra (Ophiophagus hannah), Racer Snake (Elapheeiythrura danejansen), 21 species of large lizard and others.

People living around the national park area largely tribal is Kaili Ledo, Kaili Ija, Kaili Ado, kaili Moma, Kaili Tohulu, Kaili Da'a, Kulawi, Behoa, Pekurehua and Bada. Each tribe has a culture of community arts and Rego dance very special.

Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand. Odzala-Kokoua National Park or Odzala National Park is a conservation area of 13,500 sq kilometers (5,200 sq mi) at the Cuvette-Ouest Department, Republic of the Congo, declared a protected area in 1935, biosphere reserves in 1977, and national parks in the year 2001 at.
