Taka Bonerate National Park

Taman Nasional Taka Bonerate is a marine park in Takabonerate District, Selayar Islands Regency, South Sulawesi, which has the world's largest atoll neighborhood. Parks set in 2001 covering Selayar island has an area of 5,308 square kilometers with an area of 2,200 square kilometers atolls and reefs spread to 500 square kilometers.

Taka Bonerate National Park is located in District Takabonerate, Selayar islands regency, South Sulawesi, has 15 islands and the topography is very unique in that atoll consists of a cluster of islands reefs, flats are very spacious and sunk to form the many islands in tidal system.

Beautiful panoramic sea in an encircling ring-shaped atoll lagoon that has been filled by the sea is a paradise. Among the islands reefs are narrow straits deep and steep, while on surface of coral reef creating lagoons. At low tide clearly visible dry land interspersed puddles that formed the pools.

Tinabo island has white sand substrate with topography sloping between 0 to 2 meters and dominant terrestrial vegetation such as coconut, santigi, ketapang, grasses and shrubs. Latigiang Island is a small uninhabited land where the turtles lay their eggs. Recorded hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), green turtle (Chelonia mydas) and olive ridley turtles (Dermochelys coriacea).

More than 261 species of 17 families of coral reefs as Pocillopora eydouxi, Montipora danae, Acropora palifera, Porites cylindrica, Pavona clavus and Fungia concinna. Plants include coconut tree (Cocos nucifera), sea Pandan (Pandanus sp.), Pine sea (Casuarina equisetifolia) and Ketapang (Terminalia catappa).

More than 295 species of reef fish such as grouper (Epinephelus spp.), Skipjack (Katsuwonus spp.), Napoleon wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus) and rabbitfish (Siganus sp). More than 244 species of mollusks are trochus (Trochus niloticus), mussels goat head (Cassis cornuta), triton (Charonia tritonis), batulaga (Turbo spp.), clams scales (Tridacna squamosa), pearl oyster (Pinctada spp.) and nautilus hollow (Nautilus pompillius).

Routes and public transport: All flights to H. Aeroppala Airport on Selayar Island. Another alternative is flying to Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar city, then to Bira port or Leppe’e in Bulukumba city to use a ferry boat to Selayar Island.

Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand. The beach is in a secluded area between Siung Beach and Sundak Beach where a coral island becomes a lobster habitat.

Odzala-Kokoua National Park or Odzala National Park is a conservation area of 13,500 sq kilometers (5,200 sq mi) at the Cuvette-Ouest Department, Republic of the Congo, declared a protected area in 1935, biosphere reserves in 1977, and national parks in the year 2001 at.
