Tenganan village

Tenganan Pegringsingan is a traditional village in Manggis district, Karangasem regency, as one of the Bali Aga village are villagers still maintain the original culture of Bali. Village in the east of Bali island has the architecture, layout, lifestyle and others refer to traditional rules of customary village directly inherited from ancestors.

Tenganan village is genuine Balinese traditional village that has building shape, building size, the location of temple, legal and social institutions still follow the rules of customary hereditary maintained without being influenced by modern world. The village of 1,500 hectares has a total of about 3,862 inhabitants, the majority work as rice farmers and others make variety of crafts typical of Tenganan are woven bamboo, carvings and paintings on palm leaves are processed using fire.

Cutting down trees must go through a complicated process, residents must report to the head tribe and not allowed to cut down trees that are still alive well. Tree be felled if otherwise 3/4 of dead and should bring five witnesses to convince the truth.

Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand.
