Ratenggaro Village

Ratenggaro Village is a traditional village in Umbu Ngedo sub-District, Kodi Bangedo District, Southwest Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, or 40 kilometers from Tambolaka City, invited the travelers back to the days of megaliths in which old stone tombs, the house of Uma Kelada architecture shaped tower 15 meters and Marapu religion.

Ratenggaro village has the meaning Rate or the grave and Garo or Garo people has a history of inter-ethnic wars, those who lost the war were killed and buried on the spot. At least 304 unique-shaped stone tombs and three of them on the edge of the sea.

Stone tombs resembles a flat table, large and carvings in magical symbols looks very sturdy though every day always hit by the wind from the sea behind the village. Stone tombs also contains the remains of the kings and ancestors, whereas the smaller grave stone for common people.

Village has Uma Kelada is a traditional house in unique architecture form a tower of 15 meters. The roof structure using basic material of bamboo and palm tree leaves. High and low roof is based on social status of every householder. To this day people in Ratenggaro still adhere to the Marapu tradition same as other villages in West Sumba District in general.

Ratenggaro house is almost the same as other traditional houses in East Nusa Tenggara, Tana Toraja and North Toraja where buffalo horn and pig jaw hung in houses as a symbol that the homeowner had carry out traditional rituals as a glory status.

Odzala-Kokoua National Park

Odzala-Kokoua National Park or Odzala National Park is a conservation area of 13,500 sq kilometers (5,200 sq mi) at the Cuvette-Ouest Department, Republic of the Congo, declared a protected area in 1935, biosphere reserves in 1977, and national parks in the year 2001 at. Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand.
