Simple coffee shop in authentic architecture and design like traditional villages in Javanese culture in Yogyakarta. Mr. Rohmat is the owner of a tavern where well known also became the name of the shop and dispensing each serving of coffee to the guests.

Mr. Rohmad always welcomes the arrival of every visitor and really treats them as a best friend, before escorting them into taverns or simple gazebos made of bamboo built around the tavern and blending into the surrounding coffee garden in a rustic, the cliffs of the hills.

The place is far from the city where visitors have to use a vehicle to walk down a country road to reach this coffee shop. Menoreh mountains is a cluster of karst hills to the east of Yogyakarta City which geomorphologically has a complex landform.

Menoreh result of endogenic and exogenic process where sand rock, napal sand, clay, and limestone at Middle Eocene. Andesite, andesite and tuff breccia due to volcanic activity in the Oligocene era, limestone and coral deposited in Lower Miocene era, and koluvium deposited in the Quarter era.

This coffee shop is not a fast food service as it is done in modern stores in urban malls. Mr. Rohmad brewed from hot water, poured into each glass, mixed doses of coffee powder and so on. All it does manually and using traditional equipment.

Each portion is placed on a wooden tray with a banana leaf cover and each tray contains a black coffee cup and a variety of traditional foods such as boiled peanuts, tempe mendoan, bakwan and geblek. Black coffee is served without additional sweeteners, but the dish also includes solid palm sugar, liquid palm sugar and crystal sugar cane

The shop provides arabica and robusta coffee where both are harvested from the garden and processed by Mr. Rohmat himself. Guests are also welcome to plant coffee trees on the farm or to harvest and process coffee beans, even brewing coffee.

This shop also provides main meal is rice, chicken rica-rica, duck rica-rica, steamed chicken, salad lompong and others. All are processed using traditional recipes and served in an authentic rural way in Javanese culture in Yogyakarta.
