Annapurna Circuit

The Annapurna Circuit is a trek line in Annapurna mountains, Nepal, which has a total route varying between 160-230 kilometers (100-145 mi) depending on the choice used and where the journey ends. Travel across several river valleys and round Annapurna massif where the highest point is Thorung La route at 5416 meters (17769 ft) on the edge of Tibetan plateau.

Spectacular panoramas through paddy fields, subtropical forests, several waterfalls, gigantic cliffs and traditional villages. The Annapurna circuit has a complete track which includes contours and various climate zones at an altitude of 600 meters to 5416 meters in the Thorong La aisle.

Cultural diversity in Hindu villages in low hills and Tibetan culture in the lower Manang and Mustang valleys. Mountain biking is becoming very popular where the Mustang has in particular become one of the most famous mountain biking destinations in the world.

The journey begins in Besisahar or Bhulbhule in the valley of the Marshyangdi river and ends at Kali Gandaki Gorge. The trekkers generally climb counter-clockwise to get the heights easier and safer. The route gives a panorama of Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, and Paungda Danda.

The tour is usually about 15-20 days depending on the speed of the trekkers and departs from Kathmandu for a stop over in Pokhara. The path is very challenging and many cross the river on a wooden suspension bridge. Tea houses and lodges along the circuit provide food and accommodation.

Gaunshahar is a pristine little village and is situated on a beautiful mountain slope about 8 kilometers from Besisahar. Stay is a good way to get to know further where this village on a mountain provides excellent views.

The Naar-Pho Valley has a truly Tibetan character and the two main villages of Phugaon and Naar are located at altitudes above 4000 meters. Lake Tilicho is one of the highest lakes in the world at 4920 meters and takes 2-3 days from Manang where some maps will show the path along the south side of the valley.

Most of the Himalayas are unable to walk in the rainy season. October-November is the most popular hiking season where as long as the circuit is fresh, clean and vibrant. Clear sky, warm weather, night temperatures drop below freezing.

December-March is the coldest period on the circuit and Thorung La Pass is over 5,000 meters covered in snow. The government often closes tracks for days because of avalanche. April to May most of the snow has subsided and the sky is clear. June-September is the period of the rainy season.

Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand. The beach is in a secluded area between Siung Beach and Sundak Beach where a coral island becomes a lobster habitat.



Timang Beach traveled using vehicle from Wonosari City for about 32 kilometers where the motorcycle is the best mode to facilitate travel. Odzala-Kokoua National Park

Odzala-Kokoua National Park or Odzala National Park is a conservation area of 13,500 sq kilometers (5,200 sq mi) at the Cuvette-Ouest Department, Republic of the Congo, declared a protected area in 1935, biosphere reserves in 1977, and national parks in the year 2001 at. Odzala-Kokoua has more than 100 species of mammals and as one of the most diverse primate populations in Africa.

Odzala-Kokoua is managed by the African Parks in collaboration with the Ministry of Forest Economy, Sustainable Development and Environment of the Republic of the Congo in 2010. The park has retained the old rainforests and terrain that vary from 350 meters (1,150 feet) to forest bushy and lots of glade. The area also includes dry forests, savannahs and rainforest ecosystems.
