"Last year only 46 units, now 56 units. For 20 minutes the sky in Depok Beach will be full of paramotor planes," said Committee Chairman, First Marshal Novyan Samyoga, on Thursday.

The planes will return to the starting point and five of them are landing at the scene to enliven the Jogja Air Show where record-breaking has been done. Samyoga said Jogja Air Show is an effective event for developing the skills of aerospace athletes.

"We created a national and international scale where last year for the international scale and this year for the national scale, but in 2019 it will involve international participation and so on," said Samyoga.

Record-breaking efforts have been designed in two scenarios on February 17 and 18 to anticipate bad weather including winds above 10 knots and heavy rain in the south coast. The failure to break the record on the first day will be adventurous the next day.
