The founder and director of the Ubud Food Festival, Janet DeNeefe, said this year brings the theme of 'Generation Innovation' to celebrate the young generation who bring many innovations into the culinary industry, although not forgetting those who have pioneered and paved the way for the generations for a long time.

"We also want to show the world that this is the perfect time to visit Bali that is quieter, cleaner and peaceful. An early stage announcement for the name of the chef to attend is just a few of the many delicious things we will bring in next April," DeNeef said.

"The sky is more blue, the air is cleaner, the fields are more fertile, like a way for Mount Agung to remind us all about the beauty of this island. Without Mount Agung, there will be no Bali that has made us all fall in love," DeNeef said.

World chefs and young innovators prove that festivals have gained spotlight on the culinary map of the world.
