Ullen Sentalu Museum

Ullen Sentalu Museum is a private museum on the plateau of Kaliurang, Pakem District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, featuring the culture and life of the Mataram Dynasty, consisting of four kingdoms, the Yogyakarta Sultanate, Surakarta Kasunanan, Praja Mangkunegaran, and Kadipaten Pakualaman.

Ullen Sentalu Museum is the best museum in Indonesia in design and management. Initiated by the Haryono family in 1994 and inaugurated on 1 March 1997 to coincide with a historic day for the city of Yogyakarta. The collection includes figures of kings and empresses in a variety of everyday clothes, various collections of batik, and others.

The museum displays various histories about the state of ancient Javanese culture since the Mataram Empire with all its rules. Paintings, traditional musical instruments, a collection of photographs, letters archives, batik and other fabrics are very well laid out and make visitors dissolve into the marvelous ancient Javanese period.

The construction and architecture of the museum is built following the uneven contours of the land, the lush trees add to the beauty and create a comforting atmosphere. Every visitor sees the entire collection and will be accompanied by an experienced guide. Guides will take visitors around in small groups for each side of the museum.

Collections separated in several spaces are Art Room and Gamelan to store a set of gamelan collection, Guwo Selo Giri Room for painting, Kambang Kampung Room for noble collection and Sasana Room of Sekar Buwana and Letja Randa Corridor as outdoor museum.

The Beukenhof restaurant serves European cuisine in a restaurant that has gothic architecture. Some dishes include Lobster Thermidor, Breaded Chicken Tender and Glazed Lamb Rack. The delicious dishes, beautiful place, and the shady Kaliurang make for a perfect visit.

Asmat Cultural Festival

Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand. The beach is in a secluded area between Siung Beach and Sundak Beach where a coral island becomes a lobster habitat.

Timang Beach traveled using vehicle from Wonosari City for about 32 kilometers where the motorcycle is the best mode to facilitate travel. This beach is flanked by beaches on the coast of Tepus where the west including Seruni, Pok Tunggal and Ngetun, while in the east are Jogan, Siung, and Nglambor.

This beach consists of two parts where the first part of the east is the white sandy beach and many pandanus plants around it, while the second part to the west is a steep hill rock that directly borders the sea and has great views of the island or a large rock offshore.

Lower Zambezi National Park

The Lower Zambezi National Park is a conservation area of 4,092 sq kilometers across with 120 kilometers along the northern edge of the Zambezi River in Lusaka Province, Zambia, declared in 1983 which was previously a private game reserve of the Zambian president. The park sits on the Zambezi floodplain and one of the few remaining wilderness areas in Africa.

The park has a sloping gentle topography from the Zambezi Escarpment to the Zambezi River with two major forest prairier ecoregions that are distinguished by two dominant tree species. The Miombo Forest (Brachystegia) in the higher ground in the north and and the Mopane Forest (Colophospermum mopane) on the lower slopes of the south are interspersed with white acacia (Faidherbia albida).
