White Sand Beach

White Sand Beach or Pantai Pasir Putih is a white sandy beach in Manokwari Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia, as part of the northern coastline of Papua Island and the southernmost boundary of the Pacific Ocean. White Sand Beach is protected by Tanjung Memori and Masinam Island off the coast where it does not have the waves for perfect diving and snorkeling.

Pasir Putih Beach is a south coast Manokwari that has a length of 1 kilometer and is still natural where hotels and restaurants built in Manokwari City which is about 5 kilometers from the beach. The soft white sand and clean span from end to end. Water jenih has three colors are white, blue and dark blue.

The shady trees along the coast of the tidal system produce dramatic characteristics. The sea water recedes to create a sandy beach area, but when the tide will go to the mainland to drown the trees. Travelers climb the coconut trees when the tide is up to jump directly into the water and swim among the trees.

The water has three gradations of clear white, light blue and dark blue. Offshore also has many small islands with stretches of coral reefs and various marine life. The beach is very convenient for swimming, sunbathing, diving, and snorkeling.

The locally run stalls are lined by the beach providing seats to enjoy Papuan cuisine and coconut ice under the shady trees. The beach is very clean and comfortable to spend a day on the beach.

Manokwari Regency is located on the northern coast of Papua Island which has many beautiful beaches and islands. The Pacific Ocean routinely sends strong waves and creates lots of spots for surfing just like any other regencies on the northern coast of Papua.

Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand. The beach is in a secluded area between Siung Beach and Sundak Beach where a coral island becomes a lobster habitat.



Timang Beach traveled using vehicle from Wonosari City for about 32 kilometers where the motorcycle is the best mode to facilitate travel. This beach is flanked by beaches on the coast of Tepus where the west including Seruni, Pok Tunggal and Ngetun, while in the east are Jogan, Siung, and Nglambor.
