Widi Islands or Tofuwidi Islands is a coastal area in white sand and expanse, bluish clear sea water, coral reefs and various types of beauty of marine life in the Gane Luar Village, Gane Timur Selatan District, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku, Indonesia, dubbed as twin sister of Raja Ampat.

White sand and turquoise waters where the underwater beauty can be enjoyed directly without snorkel. Widi Islands is a series of 99 small islands, three atolls and two island clusters where during low tide the white sand connect one island to another island.

A village of fishermen consists of 11 simple families who inhabit Daga Island and live by catching fish in clear waters. There are no hotels here, but the residents who inhabit the wooden stilts around the pier will accommodate guests who want to stay overnight.

Travelers should bring their own equipment for snorkeling and diving. Widi Islands is the perfect place for a quiet beach atmosphere and beautiful sea views. Setting up a tent is a good choice as well. A freshwater lake and tame Maleu birds pass by on shore and bushes.

Widi Island is also a haven for fishing enthusiasts where yellow fin tuna and dog dental tuna are easy to find. Merging sashimi on the beach will be an exciting experience. This archipelago once hosted 'Widi International Fishing Tournament' in 2017.

Timang Beach

Pantai Timang is coastal attraction forms the boundary between Java Island and Indian Ocean in Danggolo Sub-village, Purwodadi Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as one of the beaches in Gunung Kidul which has white sand.
