Advice: Snorkeling and scuba diving are the most popular activities in Alona Beach and a large number of dive shops offer dive certification courses, technical courses, and diver excursions from all levels.

A number of restaurants, bars and resorts are situated on the beach side. Many resorts offer a variety of accommodation options. The closer to the beach, the more expensive food and accommodation, but you can still spend a few days to enjoy local and western food, staying in a budget room.

Alona is a place for delicious food. The whole area is surrounded by Filipino and Western food where all kinds of food is served from pancakes and peanut bread for breakfast to pork roast for lunch and crab for dinner. Renting a motorbike is the best way to reach the whole island and visit the traditional fish market.
